Animation

The final animation contains 4 clips.
The first one is an introduction. The character is entering the stage.
-Character moved using biped running footsteps then it switches to walking footstep mode
-He twist the javelin in hand using link constraint
-He smiles using morpher modifier on the head
The second one is where he is hunting. He is throwing the javelin towards an imaginary target. The javelin dissapears and we can see the character observing it and focusing on it. Once it hits the target we can see the character's reaction
-Animation created using biped, morpher and link constraint
The third clip is where the character is dancing happy about the dinner.
-Animation created using biped running footstep mode and setting biped's key frames manually.
The last one is where the chaaracter blinks an eye towards the audience

Research part 2

I decided to watch legendary Disney films from 1930's and base my body language on the references taken from them. Here are the ones taht made me feel the expressions of animated characters:

Colors, textures. Face expression example

This is the main character

Accesories and Morpher

Morpher used to form the face expressions to be used in the animation.
The morpher references are ready to form the focus expression and the optimistic happy smile.
Simple javelin model to be used in the animation as said in the storyline.

Models

The body model:
Modelled from the box using the human proportions picture as a reference
The head model:
Modelled from the plane using no reference (his head is my own creation)
Cartoon style eyes that can even blink.
Biped attached to the body and head using the skin modifier
models smoothed using mesh smooth

Creating

Storyboard:
"The Character" is going to be an animal on a hunt. It is going to be humanoidical.
1. The character is running holding a javelin in his hand
2. He in throwing the javelin to hit the (imaginary) target
3. He is observing the javelin flying towards the target focusing on it
4. Once the javelin hits the target the character is really happy and optimistic about it

Human Proportions

A good reference picture to create a model of humanoid.
